Today we had a party to celebrate Max's 1st birthday and Pop's 51st birthday. There was LOTS of cake and we had a blast.

On November 4, 2008, some big election was going on. But more importantly, I was becoming a big brother. This is a job I take very seriously. And while I still call him my "new brother," it is hard to believe that Maxer has been here a whole year! Happy birthday Max!

I love you.

Trick or Treat!

It's Halloween! Max and I had a big day. We went to the kids carnival at church, then we trick-or-treated on our street. It was fun. And this year I know what candy is so too bad Mommy and Daddy...I'm eating it all! :)

I was Elvis and Max was a turtle.

After the kids carnival, we hit up the neighborhood for more candy.

There are LOTS of kids on my street (and lots of people passing out candy!)

Using my charm to sweet talk this neighbor into giving me more candy! ;-)

Happy Halloween everyone!

BU Homecoming- 100 years!

We went to Baylor this weekend for their 100th Homecoming. It was very fun. We met up with some of Mommy's friends, watched the parade, and went to the football game. The Bears did not win, but we had a blast!

Here's me and Daddy with Mommy's law school professor, Professor Powell.

Here's Mommy with her good friend and mock trial partner, Casey.

Casey let us watch the game in her cool box seats! This is the way to watch a game. :)

Sic 'em Bears!!!

I liked playing in the pom-poms.

Cheese!

A half time view from the not-so-cheap seats!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch at my school. We each picked out our very own pumpkin to put on our front porch.

I was not too sure what to do with this...

Max is getting so big!

Mommy's three little pumpkins.

Picking out the pumpkins for me and Max.

Then we ate our dinner. Max really likes feeding himself.

And I like playing peek-a-boo!

Speaking of "boo" it's almost Halloween! I will make sure Mommy takes plenty of pictures of my costume.

Max's 10 Month Photo Shoot

Max took some pictures this week. It's a tough age to photograph because he's super mobile, but you can't bribe him to be still!

My handsome baby brother.

I let him borrow my golf cart for these shots.

Little Tiger.

Here's a sneak peek at his Halloween costume. Little devil! ;)

Doesn't he look mischievous?

Attacking the photographer!

he he devil tail.

Look at all of his teeth! He likes to bite me, but Mommy and Daddy are working on that!

Fish Camp

We went down to see Granny and Pop's new fish camp in Port O'Connor. I love it! Mommy and Daddy REALLY love it because they can fish.

Here's Daddy's catch:

Mommy's big red fish.

Then we went over to Sunday beach to look for sand dollars.

Walking back to the boat on Sunday beach.

I love Port O'Connor. I can't wait until I'm big enough to go wade fishing like Pop!

Gig 'em Aggies

My good friend, Landon, and his mommy and daddy came to visit us for the Labor Day weekend. Landon's mommy went to college at A&M with Mommy and his daddy went to UNM. So, they also went to the A&M vs. UNM football game. Poor Joey, the Aggies won (yay!)

Here's me and Landon playing my drums!

And chilling in the game room!

Here I am with Mommy in our game day gear. Gig 'em!

Even Daddy wears maroon if the Aggies aren't playing Baylor.

Hawaii Part 2

Okay so Mommy fell behind on updating the blog! Here's the rest of Hawaii!

One day, Mommy, Daddy, Granny and Pop went zip-lining through the rain forest. I think they had a blast.

Beautiful Kauai backdrop.

This is my cool Hawaiian outfit.

Then, we went on a helicopter tour so we could see the whole island.

Max says "lets do this!"

Look at this cool view. There was an entire circle rainbow and look at the waterfalls!

The nice vibrations knocked me out!

Post-helicopter ride.

After the heli-tour, we went to Poipu beach. This beach was voted the "best family beach" by the Travel Channel. It did not disappoint.

There was a great natural tide pool for us to play in.

Max's beach tent got lots of use this week!

Post-beach. Cheese!

For our last night, we went to a luau. It was really cool.
The luau was in these really great gardens and you could feed the peacocks and ducks. I liked to look at them, but I let Pop do the feeding.

Just a beautiful place.

Here we are in front of the Easter Island statue.

Granny, Pop and Max at the luau.

Then it was time to head home. I had so much fun in Hawaii. I cannot wait to go back! ~Miles

Here's me and Daddy!

We made it!
